En ze is klaar... nou nee, dat is ze niet... maar dat is precies het punt. Het plan is om mijn tekeningen onafgewerkt te laten om de ongelijkheid van de geslachten te laten zien en dat er nog een grote kloof is die we moeten aanpakken. 

Aan de andere kant ben ik natuurlijk ook op zoek naar perfectie in het onvolmaakte. Zo raakt de kijker meer betrokken en moet hij een mentale inspanning leveren om het hele plaatje te zien. Hoop dat je haar net zo mooi vindt als ik. 😃

Gebaseerd op een schilderij van de Italiaanse Renaissance kunstenaar Parmigianino, gemaakt met kleurpotloden (voornamelijk Luminance en Polychromos). 50x70cm op dik, bruin papier.

And she is done... well no, she is not... but that's the point exactly. The plan is to leave my drawings unfinished to show the inequality regarding the genders and that there is still a big gap we need to deal with. 

On the other hand I'm obviously also searching for perfection in the imperfect. Like this the viewer gets more involved and needs to make a mental effort to see the whole picture. Hope you like her as much as I do. 😃
