Untitled / Coincidences Platvvorm
Installation displaying the current status of my paper collection. Kind of self-critical, because at the time my drawing practice gravitated towards collecting paper rather than the act of drawing itself.
This work was realised in the context of the group exhibition Coincidences at Platvvorm Deinze.
Maya Strobbe maakt mooie publicaties als RAMSDAM BOOKS en ook dit werk van haar is al een tijd mijn favoriet. De natuurlijke verzameldrang van de maker (dit maal in de vorm van papier) komt me zeer bekend voor. Het uitstallen en ordenen van deze verzameling is een humoristische en visueel voldoening gevende manier om met die impuls om te gaan.
