Shameless Summer
For their next Collection, BuroMuro is looking for a mix of artists, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers. The theme for this year's open call is 'Shameless Summer'. Think of the burgundian lifestyle, long and warm summer evenings, sandals with stockings and lukewarm pints by the water. Of escapism, freedom, je m'en foutism, enjoying the everyday and friendship. Without limits.
What does your shameless summer look like?
BuroMuro will select 25 works within this theme that will be produced as art prints in different formats. These works will be exhibited at the Studio Binnenkyk in Mechelen (28 June - 1 September 2024) and will be for sale on BuroMuro.com in different formats, with or without a frame.
Participating is free of charge.
You can register by submitting your work on the online platform Beeld until 19 May 2024 (midnight). You submit with an image of your work, accompanied by a short commentary and a biography via the application form.
BuroMuro is looking for artists, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers to participate in the next edition of the Collection.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The selection of work is made by the organisation BuroMuro, curator and inspirator. Decisions by the selection committee are final.
Selected artists will receive half of the proceeds with each sale of a print.
