Blessed Babushka of Kherson
Blessed Babushka of Kherson
Is a life-size portrait I made of my grandmother, telling the story of her evacuation from the Russian-occupied city and region of Kherson. Based on Byzantine and Catholic iconography, I created this collage to honor her and everything she went through during the three months of terror.
