This morning, I  woke up with renewed energy. I got out to find food only to find it hard to find. Today being a holiday, every shop seemed shuttered – not a bakery in sight, nor a store with a Sunday opening. I found a trove of provisions at a local gas station and in an automated shop. Despite my best efforts, my baguette was overly salted, and Amélie's pastry had an unpleasant taste of orange zest. Luckily, we found a Pitta nearby that saved us from starving.
